TRUCK DRIVER AND MOTOR BOY ON THE RUN, SOLD OFF N20MILLION WORTH OF CARGO, SET TRUCK ABLAZE (PICTURES)

Suspect- Truck Driver: Oghoeruke Morrison Oghenero

The hunt is on for a Truck Driver, Oghoeruke Morrison Oghenero, and his motor-boy, Okechukwu Chimieze, all staff of On Target Logistics, who allegedly conspired to set their employer’s truck on fire after diverting and selling off N20million worth of cargo.

According to information gathered from company sources, the driver’s truck was loaded with a forty feet containerized cargo of specially branded and customized Dangote tyres from APM Terminals in Apapa Wharf on Friday, 13th of January, 2017.

He was supposed to travel in a convoy of other trucks through Ibadan enroute Obajana Dangote Cement Plant in Kogi State. The suspects however diverted the truck to Aviele in Edo State where they sold off the entire cargo comprising of 238 pieces of Dangote customized brand new tyres.

Initial investigation further revealed that the suspects then drove the truck to Elele after Auchi and just before ex-governor Oshiomole’s Village (Iyamho) where they proceeded to set the truck on fire.

Good enough, timely help came from the villagers nearby who assisted in putting out the fire. This was said to have happened on the 17th of January 2017, exactly 4 days after the driver departed the Port of loading.

The Driver, Oghoeruke Morrison Oghenero, is said to have only spent two (2) years in the employment of the affected logistics firm. He is said to hail from from Ewu in Ughelli South, Delta State.
