No fewer than seven persons lost their lives while two others were injured in a motor accident, which occurred yesterday along Bauchi-Jos Road. Briefing newsmen, the Spokesperson of Bauchi Zonal Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Corps Commander, Daniel Sayi, said the accident involved a truck with Registration Number TYW 24 XA and a Peugeot.

OSHIOMHOLE PROMISES MORE ROADS EVEN AS OIL PRICE CRASHES
Barely three months to the end of his second term in office, Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole, has assured that ongoing road projects will continue, even if price of crude oil crashes to zero percent. He gave the assurance yesterday at the kick-off of a 10-km Uzebba-Okpuje-Okabhor road in Owan West Local Council Area of the state.

The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has said that it will no longer condone the recklessness of tipper drivers in Anambra State. The FRSC Sector Commander in the state, Mr. Sunday Ajayi, made this known while briefing newsmen at the end of a meeting with the leadership of the Tipper Owners and Drivers Association (TODAS) on Tuesday in Awka.
