OBIANO WEEPS AS LORRY CRUSHES WOMAN, GRANDCHILD (VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED)
The Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, could not control his emotions on Friday night when he witnessed a ghastly lorry accident that crushed a middle-aged woman and her granddaughter. The accident occurred near Chief Eugene Obiagwu Bus-stop, Awka-Etiti, along Nnobi-Ekwulobia road of the state. The 911 articulated lorry crashed into shops in the area.

No fewer than five passengers sustained injuries on Wednesday after a 20-foot container truck rammed into a commercial bus at the Anthony end of the Gbagada-Oshodi Expressway. PUNCH Metro learnt that the truck, with number plate, Lagos AGL 895 XE, had developed a fault which made its driver swerve off his lane around 9.40am.
