An accident occurred in the early hours of today, 12th of September 2014 at Toyota B/Stop (inbound Murtala Mohammed International Airport Road). The story from the scene of the accident has it that an Intermodal Container-bearing truck had an engine stall on its way up the steep Toyota overhead bridge and while it was uncontrollably rolling backward, it knocked off a Sienna and crashed into another petroleum tanker truck. The impact of the crash forced the truck to empty its container cargo on a Honda saloon car almost taking out the whole car and its driver. Luckily, no life was lost!
The entire route remains impassable as at 2.45pm today!
