A truck driver, Aderogba Adeyeye, has been brought before an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court, Lagos State, for allegedly crushing a policeman, Jeffrey Avro, the cop’s brother, King, and a relative. According to reports, the victims were passing through the Palm Avenue area, Mushin, in a Toyota Camry when the truck, with number plate, Lagos JJJ 809 XD, reportedly rammed into them.

Tragedy was averted, for the second time in less than 2 weeks, on Friday at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2 (MMA2) in Lagos following a ground collision of two aircraft belonging to FirstNation Airways. The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) Mobile Court at Kakau Unit of the Kaduna Sector Command on Friday convicted 29 motorists for various traffic offences and discharged six others. The sector’s Legal Officer, Mr. Fawzy Garba, who made this known in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria in Kaduna, said a total of 35 motorists were arrested.

ABC Transport Plc says it has commenced its sprinter service operations on the Orlu-Port Harcourt and Orlu-Lagos routes.
