The men of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) and Nigerian Police Force were on hand today to prevent what would otherwise have been another tale of woes, bloodbath and carnage.
Their timely intervention saved the day when an armed robbery siege on the Ipetu Ijesa-Erin Oke segment of the Akure-Ilesa road in Ondo State at the early hours of today resulted in an accident involving a Toyota Camry with registration number HK433EKY and a Hiace Passenger Bus with registration number FKJ859AC.
Several passengers were rescued and ferried by the waiting FRSC vehicle to a save haven.
