Ogun State government has started the demolition of shanties and illegal structures along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway and other parts of the state. The State Commissioner for Urban and Physical Planning, Adebola Adeife, who disclosed this in Abeokuta yesterday, said Government’s Taskforce, had during the week demolished over 120 illegal structures erected along the highway.

The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN), says contractors will resume work on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway next week.
